Hotel Almonds and Corals is located 25 kilometers south from Cahuita National Park, southern part of the Limon Province at the Caribbean Coast, in the heart of the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge.

Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge is a delightful relaxing place with the magic touch of Nature; a unique idea for accommodation.

This beautiful refuge has an area of 9,449 hectares (4,436 marine and 5,013 land). Located in Talamanca, its coastline stretches from the mouth of the Río Cocles near Puerto Viejo to the mouth of the Sixaola on the Panamanian border. Its highest point is the Manzanillo hills at 185 meters above sea level. Its wooded floodplains and hills are home to tree species such as cativo, caobilla, yolillo palm, mangrove and mountain almond. Monkeys, including spider monkeys, crocodiles, peccaries, agoutis and other animals make up the predominant wildlife. There is also a large variety of birds, such as parrots, harriers, toucanets and more. Beautiful beaches cover the entire coast, excellent for walking, sunbathing, swimming, nature-watching and diving in the reefs.

Put electricity night lamps, a fan, 2 beds, a hammock, and a small table with two chairs, jungle view and a bathroom by the tent. Add a gold sand beach, a restaurant incrustrated in the jungle with excellent meals, a bar, a marvelous staff , a jacuzzi in the heart of the rainforest and camping might not be so rustic after all.

Each tent at Hotel Almonds and Corals lies under giant trees in a forest so dense that the sunrays hardly touch the ground.

Each tent is placed over a platform lifted up on stilts and orchids hang from the branches and like in a fairy tale, as you walk through the enchanted forest, by passages on stilts, suddenly you are in front of the magnificent Caribbean with your feet on golden sand, coconuts and the bay of Manzanillo where you can almost hear the rhythm of Calypso.
